As adults we have been forced into a world of responsibility and practicality. Work (often jobs that we hate), paying bills, raising a family are things that take over and dictate how we live, breathe, and experience the world. Dreaming of what can be allows us to tap into our imaginations again, reminding us of what it feels like to be passionate about something. What is critical mass? Critical mass is an ever-changing target and not a constant one time only goal. This means that a smaller idea that has aspirations to grow needs to reach this critical mass at its current size before it can grow bigger. Once this threshold is achieved, a new stage is reached with new targets and a new critical mass to achieve.
